A playdate with 3 of John's school buddies. I had a car full of kids, that's for sure. I was a little nervous having them all over, but boy were they were an absolute delight.

We try to stay for Chapel on Wednesday's when we drop John off for school. It's a beautiful moment of singing, sharing and a sweet message. Today it was just what I needed.

John was so excited to dress up for the Fall Festival at school today. What a fun, fun day filled with games, prizes, and food. John made an excellent Woody.

And his costume turned out pretty great!

He collects them at school. Treasures, he calls them. Each day he collects a small stash of them in his backpack. He loves to sort them by color or shape and spends a little time each day creating art with them.

Mom! Mom! I got a blue santa today! I've been searching for a blue santa FOREVER.

Now I just have to keep them out of Owen's hands and mouth.
